Air fryer baked potatoes deliver restaurant-worthy results in a fraction of the time. Enjoy light & fluffy insides with irresistibly crispy skin, perfect for all your favorite toppings.
Prep the potatoes. Clean and dry the potatoes with a towel. Poke a few holes in each potato with a fork to release steam during the cook. Drizzle the skin with olive oil and sprinkle generously with kosher salt all around.
Air fry. Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 to 40 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 205º F. It might take longer depending on the size of the potato, your specific air fryer and how many potatoes you are cooking.
Enjoy. Use a fork to fluff the inside of the potato with a fork right before adding your favorite toppings.
Notes
The recipe can be scaled up or down, just be careful not to overcrowd your air fryer.
You can do the pinch test to see if the potatoes are finished cooking, but checking the internal temperature with an instant-read thermometer will yield better results.
