I like to use those little plastic squeeze bottles to keep different kinds of cooking oil, and they have a ton of other uses (vinaigrette storage, sauces, etc). The problem with them is that they leak just a little bit on the sides of the nozzle. The result is oil rings on the counter, which no one wants.

One way to help prevent this is to fold a paper towel, wrap it around the bottle and secure it with a rubber band. The paper towel will help catch the drips.  It might not be the most glamorous-looking solution, but it does help keep your counters and cabinets clean.
